The "wise" are so schooled in thought and perception
They can't comprehend... they're caught in deception.
God uses the simple to confound the "wise"...
Those who are "high" in their very own eyes.
The world may deride the simple and plain
And totally miss who God would ordain.
His gold may be hidden where we least expect.
Those we look down on may be His elect.
So we must tread lightly, lest we should offend
God's "simple" because we don't comprehend.
We just do not know where He has stored "gold"...
In rich or in poor, in young or in old.
"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty."
