Early in my day...
Before the daily "grumbles"
Try to find a place to stay.
I will set my mind on You
And hear what You would say.
Then I will rise above those things
That rob my joy away.
What place do problems have for me
Except to pull me down?
I will not even "go there"
For they only make me frown.
I find that when I look to You
I'm able to see clearer.
And at day's end when I reflect,
