The Lord has given gladness
To overshadow sadness,
Poured out love and joy
To be our constant buoy.
He has given cheer
In place of blues and fear,
And filled us with His peace
Causing restlessness to cease.
He has birthed salvation
To save us from damnation,
Redeemed our sin-sick soul,
Then healed and made us whole.
He covers us with light,
Fills our lives with power and might.
We have courage to stand tall
Whatever may befall.
In His grace we find retreat.
In Him we are complete.
He is Master, Lord and King.
We to Him all glory bring!
