Surely we meet angels
As we go about our day,
For every time I need one
I hear an "angel" say...
"Let me help you, dear," or
"I think you need a smile,
Or maybe need a hug and
Just to rest a little while."
Angels unawares bring us peace
And lift us up.
They bring re-assurance
And with joy they fill our cup.
They are those God uses
Who are willing to reach out
In service and in caring.
It's what love is all about.
