Sometimes when we're going too fast
We start to lose track of detail,
Or we may not have full perspective
That something is about to fail.
In these times God sometimes will
Make interruption in our path.
He will cause a change of plan
To save us from some unknown wrath.
We may not know just what His reason
But must trust in His full care
Of all things that pertain to us.
Our God will never make an error.
He daily saves us from our foes
And oversees our every need.
His lovingkindness reaches out
To help us know how to proceed.
"My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand."
