...Myriad faces seeking love,
With tear-stained cheeks and weary eyes,
Needing hope and needing promise...
Oh! that they could realize...
That Jesus gave His life for all
And knocks upon their very door,
Offering answers they will need.
He longs to share His love... and more.
But who will tell them, who will go?
How will they hear, and who will care?
They sometimes live right in our midst,
So Jesus might send us to share...
A loving touch or maybe prayer,
A helping hand... or tender care.
We might be whom He would send,
If we're open and aware.
