For resolutions on a list
Of things which I should do this year,
I'll ask the Lord for new insight
And listen carefully to hear.
To find His purpose for each day
Will certainly much better be
Than following my own ideas
And missing what God has for me.
As I stay in tune with Him
He will lead my steps each day.
And He will change the way I think
As I listen and I pray.
"Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."
