Repentance is a flowing stream
To heal the heart and lives redeem,
Releasing one from guilt and shame
And finding peace in Jesus' name.
Repentance brings a fresh new start...
It purifies an aching heart,
Relieving it from weight of sin
And purifying deep within.
Oh, what blessed state of mind
When deep repentance we shall find,
To know the mercy of the Lord
And have His glorious reward.
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
