The King of Kings and Lord of Lords
In lowly fashion came to earth.
Unthinking man made Him no room.
A manger was His place of birth.
Jesus was God's greatest gift
To save man out of his dread state,
To overcome the world with love
And triumph over sin and hate.
Think how by this small beginning
The world was then forever changed.
Little did man understand
That God our future rearranged.
Remembering now Christ's humble birth
And how He died in our behalf...
When we receive Him in our hearts
Our lives will bear God's autograph.
Each year Christmas bears new meaning,
Written deeply in our hearts.
How we treasure Christmastime
And all the memories it imparts.
